House of Halal ("we") is operated by ALSHYN LLC, an Illinois limited liability company. This policy explains what we collect through our website (houseofhalal.us) and iOS app, why, and your choices. It applies to customers, guests browsing without an account, and partner shops.

We do not collect your card number (Stripe processes payments), we do not show ads, and we do not use cross-app tracking. We also use the information above to prevent fraud and abuse, secure the service, comply with the law, and enforce our Terms.
Each of these partners is bound to use your data only to perform the service we hired them for, and to provide the same or equal protection of your personal data as described in this policy. We never sell your personal data, and we don't share it with anyone for their own marketing.
If you sign in with Apple or Google we receive your name and email (or Apple's private relay email if you choose "Hide My Email"). We use it only to create your account. You can also browse as a guest without an account.
If you provide your phone number, we may send you transactional texts about your order (confirmations and courier updates) and, only with your consent, occasional offers. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to any message to opt out, or HELP for help. We do not sell or share your mobile phone number or SMS opt-in data with third parties or lead generators for their marketing. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to know what personal information we collect and why, access a copy of it, correct it, delete it, and opt out of any "sale" or "sharing" of personal information or targeted advertising. We do not sell or share your personal information and do not use it for targeted or cross-context behavioral advertising, so there is nothing to opt out of — but you may still exercise the other rights. We will not discriminate against you for doing so. To make a request, email [email protected] or use Profile → Delete account in the app; we may need to verify your identity first.
House of Halal is intended for users 13 and older and is not directed at children under 13. Consistent with the U.S. Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA), we do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13; if we learn that we have, we will delete it. A parent or guardian who believes their child has provided us data may contact [email protected].
If this policy changes materially, we'll update this page and note the date above.
